Would you like to support causes you care about and potentially reduce your taxes? Join us for a special Lifelong Learning virtual event, Charitable Giving and Your Financial Strategy with Bobby Bolton!

In this session, Bolton, a Valparaiso financial advisor, will present a straightforward discussion on charitable giving strategies, including Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs). You'll learn ways to give to organizations that matter to you while possibly lowering your tax liability. These strategies can be used to support Valparaiso University, churches, and other 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Bobby has helped Valparaiso residents save through 401(k) plans since 2016 and has served the Valparaiso community as an Edward Jones financial advisor since 2024.

    About the Speaker:
Bobby grew up in an Air Force family, moving every three years with his older brother and parents. Patriotism and a proud support for the military will always be a big part of him. Bobby graduated Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point in 2010. There, he met his future wife, Beth. Bobby and Beth have three beautiful children Zoey, Riley and Audrik. Family is the greatest privilege, blessing and responsibility in his life. Bobby and Beth have been active in church their entire lives. They helped to start a church in Portage in 2012. The Boltons currently attend Valley Baptist Church in Valparaiso.

Bobby worked at Starbucks through college and for 17 years total. He managed the Valparaiso store on Rt. 30 from 2016 to 2024. Bobby always had an interest in financial management and investing and deeply enjoyed helping his employees save for their future. In 2024, Bobby began to work as a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones and now helps people save for their future every day at work. Providing financial education is a passion for Bobby and will always be a part of his office. Partnering with schools, local businesses, and other community resources, Bobby is hoping to help the future leaders of Valparaiso to be financially prepared so that they can pursue their passions and callings in life.
